30-60-90 Onboarding

Streamline onboarding processes with Fibery's 30-60-90 day plan template. Set clear goals, track progress, and ensure a smooth transition.

What is this framework about? 👀

The 30-60-90 onboarding framework is a structured method tailored for product companies to integrate new employees effectively. It spans three months, with milestones at 30, 60, and 90 days. This approach accelerates learning and engagement by progressing from foundational tasks to skill development and finally, to active contribution and ownership of responsibilities.

How Fibery helps? 🤔

Fibery makes the 30-60-90 onboarding plan work. The template saves manager's time by generating universal task sets for each new employee, helping them understand the company as a whole. Plus, you can easily see how things are going with tasks, so everyone stays on track. And if you ever wonder how tasks changed over time, Fibery keeps a record, so it's like a time-traveling task tracker!

How the Template Works

  1. Create Role-Specific Onboarding Templates
Start by creating onboarding task templates tailored to specific positions. These templates will serve as the foundation for every new hire in that role, streamlining the onboarding process while allowing room for personalization.

  2. Apply Templates to New Employees
When a new employee is added (e.g., Alex Johnson), you can automatically generate their onboarding tasks by clicking the "Generate Onboarding Tasks" button on their employee profile. These tasks will populate across the onboarding views, including:

    • The employee's personal onboarding task list

    • The Employees in the Onboarding Process board

    • The My Tasks board (for tasks assigned to the individual employee)

  3. Customize as Needed
Onboarding should be flexible to reflect individual strengths, backgrounds, and responsibilities. Managers and HR can easily modify task lists by adding or editing tasks under each employee or from the Tasks by State & Employee board.
